Obagi Nu-Derm

Obagi Nu-Derm is a skin treatment program used alone or as a preparation for other procedures to develop and maintain healthy skin. Designed for easy use at home, in six weeks—the time it takes for the outer layer of your skin to be replaced with the fresh one beneath—the Nu-Derm System transforms damaged, dry or wrinkled areas into smooth, soft and well-moisturized skin. Obagi Blue Peel

The Obagi Blue Peel is a mild chemical peel used in combination with the Obagi Nu-Derm Restoration System for clear, smooth, healthy skin. The damaged surface layer of skin is removed, and soon the body replenishes it with a fresh layer that is smoother, well-toned and more even in color, and has smaller pores. The Blue Peel offers benefits over other peel methods because it allows the physician to control many aspects of the process, including the depth of penetration, so treatments can be tailored to the individual patient. On average two to three peels are required to achieve full skin health.

CLENZIderm's prescription-strength formula deeply penetrates pores to reduce inflammation and eradicate whiteheads and blackheads without the use of antibiotics.

CLENZIderm M.D. works to eliminate acne in three stages:

1. Cleanse: Using salicylic acid, the Daily Care Foaming Cleanser washes away dead skin cells, dirt and oil to keep the skin clean and allow for more effective penetration of the treatment solution. A menthol component refreshes and soothes the skin.
   
2. Prepare: The Pore Therapy solution combines salicylic acid and denatured alcohol to gently exfoliate the skin, remove surface bacteria and clear the pores. The skin is now ready for the acne medication.

The treatment comes in 2 formulations for the various skin types. The cream formulation is for those with normal to dry skin in cooler, arid climates. The gel formulation is for those with normal to oily skin in tropical or humid climates.
